What Do Signs and Synchronicities Mean?

Signs, Synchronicities, and Trusting Your

Intuition

Every Tuesday at 10:30 AM, we gather together in a space created for open conversations about spirituality—topics that people are often curious about but may not always feel comfortable discussing with others. This community began several years ago as a place where people could ask questions and explore experiences that don’t always have simple explanations. Maybe you’ve noticed repeating numbers, meaningful coincidences, or signs that seem too perfect to be random. Maybe you’re curious about meditation, dreams, or how loved ones who have passed may still be connected to you. This space exists so those conversations can happen openly and without judgment.

For those of you who join every week, thank you. Your presence is what makes this space possible. And if this is your first time here, Welcome.

Why We Talk About Signs and Synchronicities:

This is one of the most common questions I’m asked is about signs from the universe or from loved ones in spirit. People often wonder:

● Are my loved ones okay?

● Are they guiding me?

● How do they send signs?

● And how do I know when something is truly a sign?

What’s important to understand is that communication with spirit often becomes a new kind of language—one built through intuition, memories, and personal experiences. Our loved ones remain energetically connected to us. Because of that connection, signs often appear in ways that trigger a memory or feeling that is meaningful specifically to you. Think of it like an internal Rolodex of memories. When something sparks one of those memories, you immediately recognize the connection. Someone else may see the same thing and feel nothing at all—but for you, it carries meaning. That’s why signs are so personal. They might appear as repeating numbers, feathers, birds, songs, dreams, chills, or unexpected coincidences. Sometimes they appear repeatedly, and sometimes they arrive at exactly the moment you’ve been asking for guidance.

My First Defining Sign that I could not deny:

When I first started questioning my own spiritual path, I spent a lot of time meditating and praying for guidance. I vividly remember driving to Ocean City, which was part of my sales territory at the time. While driving, I asked God and the universe a very clear question: “Is this what you want me to do? If it is, show me a sign I cannot miss.” A few minutes later, I passed a housing development sign that read: “Spirit Way” In that moment something shifted inside me. It felt like the click of a seatbelt locking into place. My mind, body, and spirit suddenly aligned with a sense of clarity. I felt like I had disconnected from fear and stepped into trust. That sign became a defining moment in my journey.

How Signs Appear

Signs often appear when we are open and paying attention. They tend to show up during times when we are:

● making important decisions

● going through life changes

● grieving

● searching for guidance

Sometimes the sign feels immediate and unmistakable. You see something and instantly feel a shift in your energy or awareness. Other times it’s more subtle. Repeating numbers like 1111, 222, or 1222 are common examples. For instance, when I see 7:11, I often think of my father-in-law. (July 11 was his birthday) When I notice it repeatedly and feel that internal nudge, it feels like a small hello. The key difference is how it feels within you. If you immediately sense something meaningful, trust that instinct.

Not Everything Is a Sign

Early in my journey, I remember seeing a mourning dove outside my office window several days in a row while I was meditating. At first, I thought it had to be a sign. But eventually the bird stopped appearing, and I realized something important: not everything we see carries spiritual meaning. Sometimes things simply exist as part of life. The difference is that intuitive feeling inside you. When something truly is a sign, it often creates an immediate emotional or energetic response.

Signs Are Personal

Because signs connect to personal memories, they can look very different for each person. For one person, a bee might simply be a bee. For another person, a bee might represent a loved one who was a beekeeper. That’s why comparing signs with other people can sometimes be confusing or discouraging. What matters most is what the symbol means to you. Your intuition is the most important guide.

Learning to Trust Your Intuition

When you notice a potential sign, pause and check in with how it feels. Your first instinct is often the clearest message. Many people immediately search books or dream dictionaries to interpret symbols. While those resources can be helpful, they represent someone else’s interpretation. Your own experience and emotional connection matter more. When a symbol sparks a memory or emotion inside you, that’s often where the meaning lives.

Signs During Grief

When we are grieving deeply, it can sometimes be harder to notice subtle signs. Our minds are busy processing loss and emotion, which makes it difficult to slow down and receive messages. Sometimes our loved ones in spirit also need time to adjust to this new way of communicating. In the spirit world, time does not exist in the same way it does here. What may feel like days or weeks for us may feel like only moments for them. Because of that, patience and openness are important.

Asking for Signs

If you would like to connect more intentionally with signs, you can simply ask. You might say: “Send me a sign. And if I miss it, please send it again.” Then allow yourself to remain open and aware. Sometimes the sign will appear in ways you expect, and sometimes it will appear in ways you never imagined.

Keeping a Sign Journal

One practice I strongly encourage is keeping a sign journal. Writing down experiences helps you recognize patterns and strengthens your awareness of the messages you receive. Over time, you may begin to notice recurring symbols, dreams, or synchronicities that feel meaningful.

Signs as a Simple Hello

One of the most important things I’ve learned is that not every sign needs to be interpreted. Sometimes a sign is simply a hello. Think about driving down the road and waving to a friend. You don’t analyze the meaning behind the wave—it’s just a greeting. Many signs from spirit are the same thing: a loving reminder that you are still connected.

So, while we’re thinking, it’s been days—where’s my sign? they may feel like they just stepped away for a moment. I had that experience with my Uncle Glen, when he passed. For almost a year I kept hoping he would come through during readings. I even attended a training where we were practicing gallery readings with other mediums. Twice that weekend, someone said they had an older man coming through who kept saying, “Not now... not now.” My uncle was almost one hundred years old when he passed. I guess he had a lot of people to check in with first. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that he finally came through clearly, almost like he was saying, Alright, I’m here now. It happens in their timing, not ours.

If you want to connect with signs more intentionally, you can simply ask: “Send me a sign. And if I miss it, send it to me again. Let me feel that it’s you.” Then relax. Maybe during meditation, you imagine yourself sitting on a park bench. In the distance you notice a figure approaching. At first, it’s just energy, but you know who it is. When they sit beside you, you can ask them, “Give me a sign. Put something in my hand so I know it’s you.” Maybe it’s a ladybug. Maybe it’s a feather. Maybe it’s something else entirely. The more you trust your intuition, the clearer your signs will become. Spirit wants to connect with you. It’s simply learning a new language between both worlds. And remember to always add this line: “If I miss it, show it to me again.”

Signs, symbols, and synchronicities are Spirit’s way of connecting with us. When we start overthinking—reading, researching, trying to analyze every detail—we sometimes move away from the simple truth of it. Reading different books and learning from different teachers. Lean about numerology, signs and symbols, dreams, meditation, manifesting, crystals—you name it. But what I do is take the little pieces that resonate with me, and those become part of how Spirit communicates with me. Signs and synchronicities really are fascinating. Sometimes they’re so clear you think, you can’t make this stuff up.

If this is something you feel drawn to explore more deeply, feel free to reach out. I offer online classes and in-person classes where we talk more about these things. You can message or email me if you’re interested in learning more.

I don’t claim to have all the answers. Eventually something will click, and you’ll recognize what resonates with your own path.

If you’re interested in booking a session with me, you can find all the information on my website.

When we allow ourselves to trust our intuition, connect with our higher self, and not always listen to the noise of the human world, we begin to step onto the path that allowsus to live the life we love and love the life we live.

So, until next week—keep watching for the signs and synchronicities.

Ask for them.

Enjoy the warm weather.

Next week we’ll continue talking about awakening, spiritual development, and connecting with yourself, the spirit world, and your loved ones.

Have a magical day. It’s beautiful outside—my kind of weather.

Peace out. I love you all.

Stacey
