How to Create a Portal for Abundance…

Good morning, and welcome to Tuesday Talks at 10:30 recap. A sacred space to talk all things spiritual, from meditation to mediumship, grief, healing, abundance, and more. A safe space to open your mind and heart. A place to reconnect with the inner voice that has been quieted for far too long. A space for openness, learning, expansion, and alignment.

We’ve been talking about abundance, creativity, joy, manifesting, beauty, and creation this l month. Today’s talk is the wrap up for the month of May. Next month, we will be moving onto a new topic based on inner child healing, playfulness, joy, and confidence. If you have a suggestion for a topic, simply place it in the comments or message me. I take all suggestions because creating Tuesday Talks is about your path.

Weather you’ve been with us before or a first timer; live, watching the replay or reading the blog. Welcome. You, my friend, have arrived at the perfect time. It has been divinely timed; this message is for you. I ask that you not allow anything that doesn’t resonate with you to take from what does. Give yourself the permission you need to bring it into existence within your life.

There is a quote by Anthon St. Maarten

“Abundance is not the result of unlimited opportunities or resources. It is manifested by limitless thinking, a courageous spirit and a grateful receptive heart.”

What an amazing quote. It is manifested by limitless thinking, a courageous spirit, and a grateful, receptive heart! Let that sink in and take hold.

Have you ever felt like there wasn’t enough… enough money, enough time, enough opportunity, enough support…and yet somehow, deep down, you still felt called to dream bigger?

Creating abundance is not about having a glamourous life filled with sparkly things and being in the spotlight. It is coming to the realization that the world has endless opportunities waiting for you. Your dreams are limitless and achievable. The possibilities are endless. Even when, or especially when, things seem scarce. Gratitude is the secret ingredient in making scarcity into abundance.

Let’s take a deeper look into what I’m talking about.

Spiritual abundance is not pretending scarcity doesn’t exist. It’s learning how to stay connected to possibility, gratitude, and trust even while walking through uncertain seasons. You can acknowledge limitations without building your identity around them.

Scarcity vs. Spiritual Abundance

What Scarcity Feels Like:

  • Fear of not having enough

  • Constant comparison

  • Feeling “behind”

  • Hoarding energy, money, love, or opportunities

  • Believing blessings are only for other people

Scarcity Mindset Sounds Like:

  • “I’ll never get there.”

  • “People like me don’t succeed.”

  • “There’s not enough to go around.”

  • “If someone else wins, I lose.”

Have you ever felt this way or said these things? I believe we all have at one time. But let’s look at being mindful of how we feel and what we say.

What Spiritual Abundance Feels Like

  • Trusting possibilities still exist

  • Seeing value beyond material things

  • Feeling supported by life, spirit, community, and inner wisdom

  • Recognizing growth even in hard seasons

  • Knowing your worth is not measured by your bank account or current circumstances

Abundance is first an energetic relationship with life before it becomes a physical result. As children, we dream of all the possibilities. As we grow older, we can lose that sense of adventure. Sometimes our imagination fades because it doesn’t sound like reality. The world changes us, if we allow it to. Or we can take actions to change our mindset. Keeping our dreams and passion alive.

What if it were possible to use gratitude as a portal? Gratitude is not toxic positivity. You are not saying, “Let’s fake it till we make it”. You are not denying pain or struggle. You are training yourself to notice what still exists alongside the struggle. You are opening a gratitude portal. There is a shift.

Even in difficult seasons:

  • There may still be breath. Slow down and get quiet.

  • Friendship. Even if some change. Look at the ones who stayed.

  • A lesson. What is this struggle teaching me?

  • Strength. I’ve been through rougher things and I will figure it out.

  • Creativity. Change your energy and do something creative.

  • A roof over your head. My physical body is sheltered by this storm and so can my spiritual body.

  • A second chance. What have I learned and what can I do to navigate the situation?

  • Intuition guiding you. What is my gut telling me? How does my energy feel?

When you begin to practice spiritual abundance, you will begin to notice a shift in how you process things. Let’s look at the difference in when we are aware of shifting the perspective.

Scarcity asks:
 “What’s missing?”

Abundance asks:
 “What is already growing here?”

Here is a thought awareness exercise to ponder. Let’s find out if you are asking what’s missing or what is growing. I’d like you to think of:

  • One thing you’ve once prayed for that they now overlook. Something that seemed almost emergent but now seems small? At first, it seemed like it was missing in your life. And now you realize you have outgrown the need to have it.

  • One thing in your life that quietly supports you every day. Something that you’ve overlooked because it has become a reflex, automatic almost. Acknowledging it now reminds you that you have grown. You are growing and your experience and trust in creator now supports you.

Committing to see the possibility beyond the circumstances is manifesting a solution to any situation, good or bad.

My saying, “all things are possible” does not mean instant. Does not mean they will magically appear.

It means:

  • Life can change unexpectedly

  • Healing can happen slowly

  • New doors can open at any age

  • One decision can redirect a life

  • Support can appear from unlikely places

If you have tuned in this month, let’s reflect on some of the things we’ve spoken about:

  • Seeds grow underground before anyone sees them

  • Nature never rushes, yet everything blooms

  • A tree looks still in winter but life is still moving within it

Spiritual expansion requires a vision before the evidence is shown. Sometimes abundance begins as:

  • An idea

  • A feeling

  • A tiny opening

  • A hope you almost talked yourself out of

Scarcity says: ‘I’ll believe it when I see it.’
Faith says: ‘I’ll keep nurturing it before I can see it.’”

You will never see it, unless you bring it into existence with the constant honing of the idea, feeling, opening and recognizing that you almost talked yourself out of it, but you didn’t moments. There is a reason that nudge was not denied.

Let’s look at creating the opening to receive. Many people block abundance without realizing it. Yes, I am saying, you may be standing in your own way. Not because you are undeserving or unworthy, but because you may be:

  • Conditioned to struggle. Were you told, good things come to those who wait, or if it were easy, everyone would be abundant? Is that a learned trait, placed in your head by someone or because of past situations?

  • Afraid of disappointment, not just yourself, but others. Were you taught, it has to be perfect and you are a perfectionist?

  • Uncomfortable receiving help. “I don’t need help, only weak or lazy people ask for help”

  • Attached to survival mode. This one is a big one. The world right now seems to be in survival mode. Time to stop following the crowd of naysayers. Start your own movement.

I’d like you to reflect on these “what if” questions:

  • What if life is trying to support you in ways you keep dismissing?

  • What if abundance is already approaching through small openings?

  • What would change if you believed you were allowed to receive?

I hope those questions made you think, “what if”? I hope it placed you to pause and see the possibility of expanding your mind. Here are some practical ways to cultivate spiritual abundance.

Daily Practices

  • Gratitude journaling

  • Speaking possibility over your life

  • Spending time in nature

  • Creating beauty around you

  • Giving from the heart when able

  • Celebrating others instead of comparing

  • Noticing synchronicities and blessings

  • Taking aligned action even when afraid

  • Adding mantras into your daily life

Simple Mantra Options

· “I am open to the abundance already trying to reach me.”

· “I trust that possibility exists beyond what I can currently see.”

· “My life is not limited to my current circumstances.”

· “What is meant for me can find me.”

Abundance is not only money. It is peace, connection, creativity, love, purpose, and healing. These things bring opportunity when we are mindful of our presence.

Spiritual abundance is not only about attracting things externally — it is about becoming internally aligned with the energy that allows opportunities to recognize you.

Let’s expand on peace, connection, love, purpose, and healing.

Peace creates clarity. When we are constantly in fear, panic, comparison, or survival mode, we often cannot even recognize opportunities when they appear. Peace calms the internal noise so intuition can speak.

A person in constant fear may miss:

  • a new relationship

  • a creative idea

  • guidance

  • support

  • an unexpected opening

Peace is not passive — it is receptive.

“Opportunities often arrive quietly. Peace allows us to hear them knocking.”

Connection reminds us we are not alone in creation.

Abundance grows through:

  • community

  • relationships

  • synchronicities

  • shared wisdom

  • divine timing

  • meaningful encounters

Many opportunities come through people, conversations, and energetic alignment.

One conversation can:

  • inspire a business

  • lead to healing

  • introduce a life-changing connection

  • awaken a dormant dream

“When we feel disconnected, life feels limited. When we reconnect, possibilities begin multiplying.” Ideas and signs start popping up.

Love expands energy. Fear contracts. Love opens.

When we begin treating ourselves with compassion and worthiness, we stop pushing opportunities away through self-doubt and unworthiness. Love changes what we believe we deserve.

We begin to:

  • accept support

  • trust joy

  • believe good things can happen for you too

  • no longer feel the need to struggle to prove we have value

“The energy of love tells the universe: I am ready to receive life more fully.”

Purpose creates movement. People often wait for abundance before they begin living fully, but purpose itself creates a magnet for opportunities. When someone begins creating, serving, sharing gifts and wisdom, following the inner nudges, acting from authenticity, they naturally enter the flow of expansion.

A small passion project can become:

  • healing

  • community

  • financial opportunity

  • meaningful impact

“Purpose is often the bridge between inner alignment and outer opportunity.”

Healing creates space for abundance. Sometimes abundance cannot fully enter because survival wounds are still running the system:

  • fear of failure

  • fear of visibility

  • fear of rejection

  • fear of receiving

  • belief that struggles equals safety

Healing removes internal barriers to receiving. Healing is not becoming perfect. Healing is becoming available for more life.

“As we heal, we stop gripping life from fear and begin allowing life to flow toward us.”

Peace clears the mind.
Connection opens the heart.
Love expands what we believe we deserve.
Purpose moves us into alignment.
Healing removes the barriers.

And from that space…opportunities begin finding their way to us because our energy is finally available to receive them. Maybe abundance isn’t always arriving as a giant miracle. Maybe sometimes it first appears as hope returning.

In closing, I want you to know and understand, abundance is not always something we chase. Sometimes it is something we finally become open enough to allow in. The abundance portal.

When we practice living in gratitude, we stop relating to life only through what is missing or who is absent and begin noticing what is available, and still becoming possible.

I invite you to place your hand on your heart and silently think:
What abundance is already trying to grow in my life, to create a life I love and to love the life I live?

Thank you all for being here today. Have a magically abundant day.
