The Shadow Beyond Time……Past Lives, Soul Lessons & Deep Transformation

Welcome, everyone. I’m so grateful you’re here for the Tuesday Talks at 10:30 recap. This is a moment in time created several years ago. It is meant to be a safe space to explore your spiritual path. We touch upon many subjects, from grief to connecting to spirit and our higher selves, stone energy, and so much more. We talk about how to come back home to ourselves when we feel that we’ve gotten off track. But this is that place where you can sit without judgment, without fixing, and just have the ability to say, “Hmm, I wonder, I wonder if, I wonder why, maybe someone else is experiencing the same types of things that I am. Guess what? I’m not crazy. Reading this blog tells me that you have arrived at the exact moment you were meant to be here.‍ ‍

Welcome back, all returning connection tribe, and if this is your 1st time here, welcome to the connecting family. I am so glad you found us. I welcome you all in with open arms.

‍I’m a Spiritual Healer, Author, Retreat Facilitator, Keynote Speaker, and Evidential Medium, Stacey Niedentohl. I wear many spiritual hats, and my passion is to meet you where you are in your journey of healing and growing. I want you to know there is no judgment, no fixing; you are not broken. Whether you are on a healing journey, or a spiritual journey, or just you’re curious, and you are just wanting to know the what ifs, the whys, and the hows, you are amongst friends.

I was not able to go live but I didn’t want you to be left hanging, I was traveling and thinking about our October theme. Over the past month, we have walked together through the landscape of the shadow. We've explored healing. Transformation. Ancestral wisdom. The stories hidden within our journals. The patterns that repeat through generations. The parts of ourselves we tried to hide. And the parts waiting patiently to be remembered.

If there is one thing I hope you've taken away from this journey, it is this: You are not broken. You never were.

The shadow is not evidence of failure. The shadow is evidence of something unfinished. An old wound seeking understanding. A hidden gift seeking expression. An ancient thread still woven through the tapestry of your soul.

For many of us, healing begins the moment we stop asking: "What's wrong with me?"

And begin asking: "What is trying to be remembered?"

Today, I want to take us into the realm of mystery. Not to give answers. But to ask deeper questions. What if some of the patterns we carry did not begin in childhood? What if some fears are older than our memories? What if some gifts have traveled with us far longer than we realize?

Whether you believe in past lives literally, symbolically, or simply as a useful lens through which to view the soul's journey doesn't really matter right now. Today isn't about proving anything. It is about listening. Listening to the whispers, to the echoes and to the threads that continue to call our name. In my experience, the soul rarely speaks through facts. The soul speaks through symbols, dreams, intuition and through resonance. And when something resonates, it is often the soul quietly saying, "Pay attention. There is something here for you."

The Soul Leaves Breadcrumbs

Have you ever met someone and felt as though you've known them forever? Not familiarity. But though recognition. As if some deeper part of you remembered them before your mind could understand why.

Have you ever stood in a place you've never visited and felt as though you had somehow come home? Or have you carried a fear that seemed larger than your life experience? Felt drawn toward a culture, period of history, or spiritual path with no obvious explanation? Moments like these are fascinating to me. They feel like breadcrumbs. Small luminous markers left along the soul's path. Not designed to tell us where we have been. But to help us discover where we are being called.

Most of us imagine growth as a straight line. One lesson. Then another. One chapter ending so the next can begin.

Yet the soul seems to move differently. The soul circles. It revisits. It returns. Not because it is lost. But because wisdom deepens each time we encounter it. The soul circles sacred lessons until their medicine has been fully received. And what we often call a recurring pattern may actually be a sacred invitation that has not yet been opened.

Unfinished Conversations

I often tell people that life has a remarkable way of bringing us back to the places we have not yet healed. Not as punishment. Not as karma in the way many people imagine it. But as an unfinished conversation between the soul and the universe. It may come back a little differently. Perhaps the faces change. The locations change. The relationships change. The circumstances change. Yet the feeling remains the same. Abandonment. Rejection. Powerlessness. Fear of being seen. Fear of speaking. Fear of belonging. The details shift. But the energetic signature remains.

Why? Because the soul continues to gently tug on the thread. Inviting us to return. Inviting us to see something we could not see before. To understand something we could not understand before. To reclaim a part of ourselves we once abandoned.

Many people ask: "Why does this keep happening to me?"

I often wonder if a more powerful question might be: "What is still trying to find resolution through me?"

The soul does not see repetition as failure. The hard truth is that the soul sees repetition as opportunity. An opportunity for deeper awareness. Deeper wisdom. Deeper remembrance.

The Gift Waiting in the Shadow

We are often taught to fear the shadow. To avoid it. To conquer it. To transcend it. But what if the shadow is not darkness at all? What if it is simply light waiting to be recognized? What if every fear is guarding a doorway? Every wound protecting a treasure? Every trigger concealing a gift?

Let me explain. The person who experienced rejection often learns how to create belonging. The person who felt unseen learns how to truly see others. The one who survived suffering often becomes a guide for those still finding their way. Wisdom is often born where pain and courage meet.

It is a part of us.  I think this is why the shadow follows us. Not because it wishes to haunt us. But because it carries medicine. It’s purpose is not to keep us trapped. But because it holds something valuable that has not yet been reclaimed. The shadow is not the enemy. The shadow is the messenger. And every messenger arrives carrying a gift.

The Akashic Echo: Threads in the Soul's Tapestry

Let’s think of the soul as a master weaver. And unlike us, the soul does not experience time as a straight line. We see life as a sequence.

Birth.

Childhood.

Relationships.

Losses.

Achievements.

Future.

One event following another.

One thread at a time.

But what if the soul experiences life differently?

What if the soul stands at the center of an infinite tapestry? A vast, luminous weaving.

Every relationship.

Every lesson.

Every joy.

Every heartbreak.

Every lifetime.

Every prayer.

Every moment of courage.

Every moment of grief.

All woven together within one magnificent design. From our human perspective, we only see the thread directly in front of us. But from the soul's perspective, the tapestry has always been connected. Nothing exists in isolation. Everything belongs. Every thread serves the whole. And every now and then, one of those threads begins to vibrate. A dream refuses to be forgotten. A familiar feeling arrives unexpectedly. A stranger feels strangely known. An ancient sadness emerges without explanation. A profound knowing that settles into your heart.

Moments like these feel less like thoughts. And more like remembrance. I call these Akashic echoes. An echo is the sound of something that continues to reverberate long after it first occurred. The soul has echoes too. Not because it is trapped in the past. But because wisdom continues to ripple through the tapestry.

Sacred Remembrance

What if not every echo comes from pain? What if some echoes come from gifts? From wisdom? From strengths you've forgotten belong to you?

We spend so much time searching for wounds that we sometimes overlook the treasures. The gifts that seem remembered rather than learned. The compassion that arrives naturally. The wisdom that appears beyond our years. The abilities that feel familiar from the very beginning.

Maybe healing is not merely recovering from pain. Perhaps healing is remembering who you have always been. Not your personality. Not your circumstances. Not your roles. But your soul. The eternal self beneath all temporary identities

The Veil and the Whisper

As we move deeper into this season, many people speak about the veil thinning. And maybe it does. But I've often wondered if what is truly thinning is not the veil between worlds. But the veil between ourselves and our knowing. The veil between ourselves and our intuition. The veil between ourselves and our soul.

I don’t feel that our ancestors are not suddenly closer. It feels as though we are finally quiet enough to hear them. Perhaps the soul has been whispering all along. And for a sacred moment, the noise quiets enough that we recognize the voice. The whisper beneath the fear. The wisdom beneath the wound. The remembrance beneath the forgetting. Because the ancestors whisper. The soul whispers. The shadow whispers. And transformation begins when we stop trying to explain the whisper and simply allow ourselves to listen.

The Great Remembering

I believe there comes a point on every healing journey when we stop asking: Why did this happen?

And begin asking: Who am I becoming through this?

That is where transformation truly begins. Not in fixing. Not in controlling. Not in proving. But in remembering. Remembering that you are older than this fear. Wiser than this wound. Greater than this chapter. Perhaps every challenge has been helping shape the masterpiece your soul came here to become. I think every thread has meaning. Even the painful ones. Especially the painful ones. Because without the darker threads, the tapestry loses its depth. Without the shadows, we never learn to recognize the light.

Final Thoughts

So right now, I don't invite you to ask: Who was I in another lifetime? How many lives have I lived? Can this be proven?

Instead, I invite you to ask: What thread continues to call my name? What unfinished conversation is seeking resolution? What gift is hidden beneath the wound? What wisdom is ready to be reclaimed?

Because healing is not about becoming someone else. Transformation is remembering who you were before fear convinced you to forget. Before wounds convinced you to shrink. Before the world taught you to question your own knowing.

The journey of shadow work is ultimately a journey home. Home to your truth. Home to your wisdom. Home to your soul. And maybe the echoes we hear are not calling us backward into the past at all. I think they are calling us forward into remembrance. Toward the masterpiece we are still weaving. Toward the soul we have always been. Because the soul does not travel in straight lines. The soul moves through circles. Through stories. Through sacred threads. Through living tapestries of experience and wisdom.

And every once in a while, when the world grows still enough... A thread gently pulls. An echo softly calls. A whisper rises from within. And we remember. They are only a whisper away.

Final Journaling Prompt for October

What thread continues to call my name, and what wisdom or gift might be waiting for me if I finally choose to follow it?

As you write, don't search for answers with your mind. Listen with your soul. The deepest truths rarely arrive as a shout. They arrive as a whisper. And they are only a whisper away.

Thank you for being the one who heals. Thank you for being the one who remembers. Thank you for being here, illuminating your path to live the life you love and love the life you live.

I love each and every one of you, and I’ll talk to you next week.

Have a magical day!
