Recalculating…You’re Still on Your Way Home When Your Soul Knows You Took A Wrong Turn

Welcome, everyone. I’m so grateful you’re here for the Tuesday Talks at 10:30 recap. This is a moment in time created several years ago. It is meant to be a safe space to explore your spiritual path. We touch upon many subjects, from grief to connecting to spirit and our higher selves, stone energy, and so much more. Whether you are live or on replay or reading the blog, you have arrived at the exact moment you were meant to be here.‍ ‍

Welcome back, all returning connection tribe, and if this is your 1st time here, welcome to the connecting family. I am so glad you found us.

‍I’m Spiritual Healer, Author, Retreat Facilitator, Keynote Speaker, and an Evidential Medium, Stacey Niedentohl. I wear many woo-woo hats, and my passion is to meet you where you are in your journey of healing and growing.

‍We started off this month with a focus on balance and inner alignment. We’ve been breaking it into different segments on harmony, organization, spiritual refinement, questioning chakra balance, energy cleansing and clarity, Autumn equinox and recalibration.

‍Today, I want to dive deeper into our subject from last week. If you missed it, check it out on the website or on our YouTube channel. Last week we spoke about how our chakras are all a part of our energetic map of “being”. We acknowledged the feelings we are feeling, enabling us to recognize the experience in order to build upon it. The goal, to come back into our “home” when we go astray. This is all part of our human experience. The opportunity that helps us grow into our spiritual path.

Recalibrating Our Energetic Motion

Ok, so we have our energetic map within the chakra system that is us. Let’s look at this energy center as having a built in GPS. I looked up the acronym, and it is short for global positioning system. Perfect, that fits where we position ourselves globally.

We have all experienced the prompts of our GPS when we miss a turn. That familiar voice that says, “Recalculating,” and then a new path is shown. Or you may hear a friendly warning that says, “Object in the road ahead.” This prepares you to slow down for something you have not yet seen.

We have a built in GPS that works similarly. That is why becoming aware of the signs sent to us through thought or feeling or something else is important. We have sensors warning us, exciting us, or nurturing us. This is a way our body speaks to us through the language it knows, a language for checking in on ourselves. The point isn’t that chakras tell us the future or that every emotion can be assigned to one chakra. The point is being aware of what the body is noticing.

Signs You Missed Your Turn

You keep saying yes when you really mean no

You’re tired, but you keep pushing forward

You listen to everyone’s opinion except your own inner voice

Maybe you are living according to who you think you’re supposed to be

Have you disconnected from what really matters to you

All these signs speak to you in a soft voice that says, “Something doesn’t feel right.” Maybe this feeling isn’t failure. Maybe it is information?

Recalculating

Do you think your GPS cares that you missed a turn? Thank God, it doesn’t spend the next 10 miles reminding you that you missed it. It simply looks for another route. That feels like a lifelong spiritual lesson. “Look for another route.” But we spend time beating ourselves up for the road we took when we should pause and ask, “Where do I want to go from here?”

Recalculating doesn’t = failure because, guess what? You are still moving. That’s an important part to remember. “I am still moving.”

How it shows itself GPS SAYS

Join me for a scavenger hunt of what our GPS may be saying. Our body has built in sensors that offer clues that something needs attention.

Let’s review our questions to ask from last week.

Root Chakra asks: “Do I feel safe and grounded?”

Maybe life feels overwhelming, chaotic, unstable. The earthquake is shaking the ground you are standing upon. How can you feel safe and balanced during a tremor?

GPS says: “Slow down, check where your feet are. Notice your surroundings.”

Sacral asks: “Am I allowing myself to feel and experience life? Or have you become disconnected from feeling emotions, joy, fun, and creativity?”

GPS says: “You may need to reconnect with what makes you feel alive. Is your battery cable attached correctly?

Solar Plexus asks: “Am I giving my power away, seeking approval, or allowing others to make decisions for me?”

GPS says: “Too many backseat drivers on board, have you surrendered the driver’s seat? Who’s driving your life? It’s your wheel to steer, but are you? “

Heart Chakra asks: “Am I living from love or protection? Are you holding onto resentment, grief, guilt, or old hurt?”

GPS says: “Something in your heart needs attention. Low pressure, fill up now”

Throat chakra asks: “Am I expressing my authentic self and what is true for me? How am I speaking to myself?”

GPS says: “It’s time to find your voice. Speak now”

3rd eye asks: “Am I trusting what I know? Why are you second guessing yourself”

A lot of my students and I, myself, have experienced imposter syndrome. How can I know this? I must be wrong.

GPS says: “You may already know the answers more than you allow yourself to trust.”

Crown asks: “Am I connected to something greater than myself?”

Maybe you have disconnected spiritually. Your faith is tired and confused.

GPS says: “Look up. Reconnect.”

For me, that connection brings me back to God. I personally ask myself, “Faith or fear? Where is your faith, because your fear is showing?”

The GPS Doesn’t Remove the Obstacles

A GPS doesn’t promise you that there will be no traffic or that the road you take will be smooth. It simply helps you navigate, showing you the possible obstructions.

Being spiritually aware doesn’t mean you will never get lost or hit a bump in the road. It simply means we become better at recognizing when we have taken a wrong turn and we learn to find our way again.

Recently, I was having a conversation with a friend who, over the past few years, has had some long-term friendships end. During the conversation, she stated very honestly that the common denominator was her and asked with honesty, what she was doing wrong. I truly believe we have all experienced this in our lifetime. I responded to her — yes, you are the common denominator, but not in the way you may be thinking. You attract certain relationships because you want to help and be there for everyone that touches your heart. I posed the question to her to think about the common denominator of the actual friendships. What did they all these friends have in common? She paused for a moment, having never thought of it this way. Then she responded, I was the giver and they were the takers. She would rearrange her schedule to suit them. Take calls in the middle of the night. Lend things that weren’t returned. Then she remarked that when she was in the midst of a pretty scary health issue those friends were unavailable or quiet. Now, she is not the person that gives to receive, but human concern from 30 or 40 years of friendships, it seems fair to say, they should have shown up in some way.

Her GPS says: your tank is empty; you are running on fumes. You need to refuel.

That gave her something to compare. Are you constantly in bad relationships? Look at the similarities of those relationships and meditate on why you attract them and are open to allowing them into your circle. Because then.

My Favorite Part: Welcome Home

Imagine your GPS saying, “You are arriving, welcome home.” What if home isn’t a place like Dorothy thought. What if home is that moment we come back to ourselves? “There’s no place like home.”

Home is our truth, back to our intuition and our heart. Back to our purpose and back to Creator.

So, let’s recap

Chakras = energy map

GPS = Life is navigation

Missed turn = we all have choices that take us places we didn’t mean to visit

Recalculating = Awareness that gives us another opportunity to choose again

Energy Check = What is your energy, emotions, & body telling you

Chakra Connection = What’s you driving your life: fear, expectations, people-pleasing and old patterns

Rerouting = You don’t have to return to where you were. You can create an entirely different route from where you are.

Arrival = What does home feel like to you

Recalculating is not a sign that you have failed, but rather a sign that you still have somewhere to go.

What Does You GPS Say

If your soul energy had a GPS right now that you could hear, what would it say?

1. Recalculating: something needs change

2. Slow down: you’re moving faster than your spiritual energy can keep up

3. Make a U-turn when possible — you know something isn’t right

4. Object in the road — Something is stopping you

5. Proceed with caution — Even if you are afraid, keep going, observe, then decide

6. Continue straight — you’re actually on the right path

7. You have arrived — you are exactly where you are meant to be right now.

And always remember your GPS doesn’t need to know the entire journey right now. It just needs to help you navigate the next turn. You are not lost you’re learning to navigate.

Because honestly, who is driving your life? Your map may change as you navigate your path to live the life you love and love the life you live.

If this message resonates with you or you thought of someone who may need to hear this, like and share this episode with them. One person. One conversation. One light. One shift at a time.

Have a magical day!

Stacey
