Another week has passed, and we are in the final week of 2025. This is an important transition from 2025 to 2026. Here is why. This is not just the end of another year. This is closing the chapter of a 9-year cycle. 2+0+2+5=9 in numerology. A year designed for endings, release, and truth. This year, 2025, came to finish what cannot continue, to dissolve what we have outgrown, and to allow clarity to discern what is needed and what is no longer needed in your life. Know that, if things ended, it was not random. If plans changed, relationships shifted, or you no longer recognize the old version of yourself or it feels far away, it was not a failure. It was completion. This final week is bringing all of this to a close. No longer dragging unfinished energy forward. Doors shut for a reason, do not reopen them. Agreeing, not doubting the endings, they did their job, because what will follow will be different.
Winter Solstice (December 21st) plays into this very thought. The spiritual significance of Winter Solstice is it signifies rebirth, hope, renewal after the year’s longest night, marking the death of an old cycle and the birth of new opportunities. It carries with it introspective, awareness to guard your energy and honoring your inner light. It is a sacred time for setting intentions, releasing negativity and embracing the light. The pure essence of Winter Solstice is the promise of brighter days ahead. Connecting to your inner spark of all the potential that lies dormant at times inside of us. Finding and connecting to this divine inner spark helps conquer the fear of the darkness. The past that seems to follow us like an unwanted shadow. Embracing and connection to your inner emotions are a huge turning point in growth and healing.
Because of all of this, this is a great week for reflection. Reflection does not mean regret, it means recognizing the triumphs and the wisdom you have gained this year. Deciding what you will bring with you into the new year and what you will disconnect from.
Last year at this time, I spoke to you about coming into a year of learning what needs completed. Finishing projects that I started and mostly, finished but some are still open. I took a long hard look at my emotional well-being in co-existing with these unfinished projects and making a concerted effort to decide what is best for my energy and what is not. I totally agree with what ended in 2025, was not random. But I’ll admit some endings were painful and stretched my patience almost to the breaking point. Having said that, I am convinced that it is all a part of my growth, healing and journey. Last week, I spoke about mindfulness because upon reflecting, this is what stood out to me that I was neglecting to notice the small things. This is on the top of my list to strive to do better in 2026.
It was brought to my attention, (hubby) that I habitually fall into the too many new projects mode. I realized upon reflection that he was right. This doing mode supersedes time with family and friends. I am starting this year off focusing more on mindfulness of the time I have allotted for work, family and fun.
I look forward to the new year for new beginnings and things that fall away that no longer serve me. I’m putting in place a no regret or overthinking the past policy. Winter Solstice is finding that inner part and coming out of the shadows of the past. While we close the 2025 chapter of our lives, honor all the things you’ve learned without looking back with regret. The cycle of regrets shall come to a close as all the new opportunities appear.
Conquer your fear of the darkness by reconnecting with your inner peace. I envision carrying this light for others to follow as well as following the light of others who are already beaming.
Mindfulness- taking a moment to be and not always doing. Examining the habits/cycles we continue to look at why they turn out good or why they turned out badly and making the adjustments as needed.
Honoring the wisdom we learn along the way. Balancing what we keep and what to put down and walk away from.
Are you excited to see what 2026 has to offer? I am. New beginnings, final chapters, new growth, healing, laying down the burdens that are no longer mine to carry. Seeking peace, learning to be more aware of things I’ve taken for granted.
Let’s start with a meditation. You can record your voice or go to the live to relax to the fullest.
Take in a deep breath. Bring all your awareness to how your breath feels. Slowly scan your body, taking note of any tension. Inhale and breathe white light into the area (s) of tension while exhaling, say, release, take a breath in, exhale release. Be aware of the room around you but don’t focus on any surrounding sounds. Notice your feet planted on the floor and how they feel. Are they tingling? Do they feel heavy? Untether anything that keeps you bound to an emotional heaviness. Release it. Breathe, release. Notice the sensation of feeling lighter and lighter. Welcome in thankfulness for new opportunities coming in and thankful for all the wisdom these opportunities will bring. Breathe. 2025 is coming to a close. Reflect on words like mindfulness, healing, wisdom, grace, love, closure. Breathe. Being mindful to lead with the heart, not to others but to myself as well. Breathe. Being committed to smiling more. Acknowledging it is ok, to not have all the answers right now and to trust the path before you thankfully. Breathe. Smile. Invite. Release. Breathe. Place your hand on your heart. Connect to your heartbeat. Thank you. Breathe. Release. Invite your light to shine. Call in connection to the light within and hold on to it. Smile — you are standing in grace. Pause for a moment and take it all in….. Reflect, release, and embrace all that is holding sacred space for you. Mindfully notice the chair you are sitting on, the room you are in. Breath. Feel thankful. Call on your inner light. See it. Hold it, let it shine. When you are ready, take a deep breath and open your eyes.
Thank you for being here with me today and always. Blessings for this holiday season and this end of chapter 2025.
I’m looking forward to all that 2026 offers you and what you choose to add to your life and what you choose to leave behind. The perfect combination to enable you to live the life you love and love the life you live.
See you next week.
Blessings
Stacey
