2026 Vision I’ve Got Some Questions and Only You Have the Answers
Hello and welcome to Tuesday Talks blog. Each week I do a recap of the lives I do on my social media platform. I’ll put the link below you can watch it live as well. This blog is for anyone who is on a spiritual journey, walking through grief or just trying to figure out who their authentic energy is and what they are meant to be and do.
I want to start this blog off with a quote. I’d like you to really embrace. The quote is by Albert Einstein, “Your imagination is a preview of your life’s coming attractions.” This is so true. When a new show or series is released, we see teaser ads. They show us what we are about to witness in the series. It peaks our interests and so we watch it. Our imagination is a preview of where our passion is pulling us to go. Let’s go through some questions, to get some answers.
I wrote this segment last night before going to bed. This morning an article came across my feed of the 10 things we wait too long to do for ourselves. It resonated with me so much on the topic I am speaking about today that I thought I would include them. See if you can relate to any if not most of them.
Ten Things We Wait Too Long Too Do for Ourselves.
To explore the things that call us. 2. To take meaningful action. 3. To trust ourselves with life’s challenges. 4. To appreciate what we have. 5. To be kind to others. 6. To be kind to ourselves. (what we see in the mirror is what we see in the world) 7. We wait too long to embrace the truth. 8. Too long to set healthy boundaries. 9. To close old chapters of our lives. (It takes a brave person to know when a chapter is over and then turn the page) and 10. To accept and flow with life. To keep going and keep growing.
Do you identify with any of those? I know I do. I want you to keep all of these things in mind while we discuss closing 2025. Really think about the things we will choose not to bring into 2026. We spoke last week about 2026 being a 1 year in numerology. The idea that it represents new beginnings, opportunities, new energies. Look at the list above, these are the things we want to pay close attention to in order to be more centered and grounded.
Ok, so how do we create a future that serves us as we serve the world. How do we create a better environment for those around us? Big question. Let’s break it down. Even if you are not feeling as though you want to “service” the world, how you serve yourself shine through you, therefore helping serve those around you.
The big question to ask yourself, “what do I really, really want?” Remember, Einstein said your imagination is your preview of your life’s coming attractions. Really think about it, let you mind go where it wants to go. What do you really, really want? When you close your eyes and dream of it, turn inward from your heart center and ask over and over again. What do I crave? Where are you being pulled? What vision comes to you? As you are envisioning this, add the thought, what would it be if I knew I couldn’t fail? Now where is your imagination going? What do you see? How does it feel? Check your energy, scan your body. Maybe you started to tingle, or smile. Maybe you felt excitement.
Block out any fears that may creep in. No fear, no excuses, just this new version of you. What do you see? Take a moment and write it down in a way that gives you permission to manifest it because, this my friends, is what you are passionate about. This is part of your purpose. There may be many things that cross your mind, but what stands out the most? Is this something that you have thought about before? hmm that’s interesting. If something keeps coming up, the universe is saying, “go for it”. If it has popped up before, what stopped you? What got in your way? Maybe, it just wasn’t the right time or maybe fear stopped you. Reflect on that for a minute. If fear got in your way, then wouldn’t it make sense to leave fear in 2025 as you enter the new year?
Waking into a new year, which version of yourself do you want to be and which version to you want to avoid and leave behind? The adventurer that says, “Let’s get started” or the self that says, “it will never happen for me. I’m not smart enough.” Let’s agree to be adventurous and explore new possibilities. No more fear of not being (add you're by line) What could it hurt? You will surprise yourself of what you can accomplish when fear is no longer speaking. Then keep going.
Start by recognizing what you already have in place to bring this into existence. You already have the vision, that is the hardest part. Now do one small thing each day or week (your timeframe) to grow this vision. Meditate and ask your higher self, your guides, loved ones on the other side to help you. Take note of what you feel and see. Just keep a journal or a piece of paper with ideas and steps but be sure you put action behind them. Spirit will lead you, trust that they only want what is best for you.
We are cultivating and creating a vision. A vision for your passion, your path, your soul purpose. I have several clients that will ask me to tell them what their soul purpose is in this world. I usually respond by asking where they feel pulled and start there. Do you know that all your experiences are all part of your purpose?
If you need more help, ask a few close friends what they feel you are good at, what are your strengths. Continue to ask and see if there are similar traits that come up and if those traits line up with where you feel pulled. I suggest you ask friends because they see things in you that we miss. Ask them for examples or what they mean so you have a better understanding. Let’s say a few say that you are a great problem solver. Create a daily mantra, “I am a problem solver, anything I am faced with, I can figure out.” Believe it, embrace it, acknowledge it as so. You are a problem solver. State it, “I am a problem solver.”
While you are gathering information, reflect on the parts of your life that have worked well and what did not work well. Make changes where they changes are needed. Maybe one of those ten items above will make more sense upon reflection.
Here’s the deal. We all have a story of how we got to this moment in time. We all have struggled and overcome things. This is our story. No one else’s story will be yours. It may be similar, but it is not the same. These experiences create the chapters in your life. Just telling your story, your truth can help others. How do these experiences help you walk your path? Usually, we create a vision based around a struggle we faced so that others don’t have the same experience. You found your way out. I speak often about suffering with depression and anxiety. The inner work I did to pull myself out was hard but worth it. I share what my experiences were in order to let others know there is a way out. It is not something you have to accept for the rest of your life. There are ways to close the chapter to these debilitating glitches in our psyche.
Moving forward, in believe, exploring, asking and putting actions into place create an opening for things to fall into place. The universe see that you are ready. If the vision seems overwhelming, break it down into small actions. Acknowledge the things that are already available to you and take one small step at a time to continue to grow your path.
Things to ask yourself when creating a vision: What would you be doing? Where would you be working? Where would you live? What would you wear? How would your life change when you complete it? Who else could benefit from it?
Take it a step further. What would your moto be? What is your mission statement? I’m not saying you need to create a business. What is your life mission statement? Be sure to write it all down on paper to get it out of your head. Once you see it, how can you make it a daily habit and then how can you expand upon it? Where your energy flows your attention goes. That is a quote I remind myself of all the time. I ask myself what I am focusing on? Is that helping my energy or hindering it? Placing your mission statement on paper and keeping it in your site, on your desk, a mirror, your car, draws your energy to the forefront of your brilliant vision. It is brilliant. Believe that and half the battle with your fear is won, now explore.
Commit to telling a friend that you trust to hold you accountable. Maybe have them check in and ask how it’s going, what have you discovered? Just have them ask what progress you have made. Memorize your motto, your mission statement and recite it to them. Have conviction in the direction you are headed. Everyday remind yourself this is where I am being pulled. Practice describing it to people you’ve just met.
Things to also think about is the outcome: The legacy. What your children and grandchildren will think or how it will make life easier for them. How will you benefit? How will others benefit? When do you want this to materialize? What is your mantra? How about a 5-year mantra? You are limitless on your vision quest.
David Allen said, “Things rarely get stuck because of lack of time. They get stuck because the “doing” of them has not been defined.”
In this blog, I gave you several helpful hints, lots of questions to think about in order to define the “doing”.
I truly believe that together, we can help heal the world one person as a time and it all starts with you and with me. Your path, your vision is all a part of this. I ask that you visualize the desire to live the life you love and love the life you live.
Who is with me?
Blessings
